Intention: Create a self-sustaining cultural complex on privately owned land in the Altiplano region of Guatemala in order to preserve and share the essence of Mayan culture with other cultures of the world. This cultural complex will dedicate its services to preserving ancient knowledge; sharing tradition, ceremony, and wisdom firsthand; and providing a conductive environment for intercultural exchange between international communities.The facility will be available to all visitors at low cost (as the hostel and restaurants support the self-sustaining aspect of the community) or by terms of the volunteer exchange program.
